ROCK TEMPLE

The ancient Slavic cave temple arose in the first century AD. It was created in a natural fissure. In 1824, local landowner Romuald Ovsyanyi found rock paintings here. He built a covered veranda and held literary evenings. Rains and winds damaged the local monument quite badly, so it is difficult for archaeologists to establish the age of the temple.

The temple complex consists of three cave-like rooms. Two of them were formed naturally, and the "cell" was created by people. Nearby is the largest park of stone sculptures in Europe.
